ஏன் இந்த முயற்சி?Why this effort?
நம் ஊர் நமக்கு எல்லாம் தந்தது. இப்போது நாம் ஊருக்குத் திருப்பித் தரும் நேரம்.
கல்வி, வேலைவாய்ப்பு, சாலை, நீர், மின்சாரம், பாதுகாப்பு, பசுமை, ஆரோக்கியம் என நம் கிராமத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு தேவையையும் கவனித்து, பத்து திட்டங்களாக வகுத்துள்ளோம். வரும் உள்ளாட்சித் தேர்தலில் தகுதியான ஒருவரை மக்களின் ஆதரவுடன் நிறுத்தி, இவற்றை நிறைவேற்றுவதே நமது இலக்கு. இவற்றை நமது கிராமத்துக்கான வாக்குறுதிகளாகவும் வைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம்.
விரைவில் கள ஆய்வு நடத்தி, மக்களின் கருத்துக்களை அறிந்து, இத்திட்டங்களை விரிவுபடுத்தி ஒரு புத்தகமாக அச்சடித்து ஊரில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் வழங்குவோம்.
Our village gave us everything. Now it is our turn to give back.
We have looked at every need of Bommakottai, from education, jobs, roads and water to power, safety, greenery and health, and shaped them into ten plans. Our aim is to support a deserving candidate in the coming local body election, with the people behind them, and see these plans through. Think of them as our village's promises.
Soon we will run a field survey, hear from every household, expand these plans, and print them as a book for everyone in the village.

நம் ஏரியின் கனவுA vision for our lake
வசந்த விநாயகர் கோயில் அருகே உள்ள நம் ஏரி — இன்று எப்படி உள்ளது, நாளை எப்படி மாறலாம். நடுவில் மியாவாக்கி குறுங்காடு, சுற்றிலும் சோலார் கூரையுடன் கூடிய நடைபாதை.Our lake beside the Vasantha Vinayagar temple, as it is today and as it could become: a Miyawaki forest at its heart, ringed by a walking path roofed with solar panels.
- மியாவாக்கி குறுங்காடு: ஏரியின் நடுவில் அடர்ந்த நாட்டு மரக்காடு — பறவைகளுக்கும் நிழலுக்கும்.Miyawaki forest: a dense native-tree forest in the middle of the lake, for birds and shade.
- சோலார் நடைபாதை: ஏரியைச் சுற்றி நிழல் தரும் சோலார் கூரையுடன் நடக்கும் பாதை; அதே கூரை ஊருக்கு மின்சாரம் தரும்.Solar walkway: a shaded path around the lake whose solar roof also powers the village.
- தூர் வாருதல்: ஏரியின் கொள்ளளவை உயர்த்தி நிலத்தடி நீரைப் பெருக்குதல்.Desilting: more water held, more groundwater recharged.
